Report of the Week – Meeting of Dec 12
   by Andreas Runggatscher

The last luncheon of the Rotary Club of New York in this year 2019 took place at the Penn Club of NYC on December 12, 2019. The guest speaker was Coren Allen who gave a very interesting presentation. He spoke on his book “What if it Just Started Raining?” and his position as founder of The Kambimbi Academy in Washington, DC, which he made sure was built with a passion to fight hatred and prejudice in every corner of the planet. He brings an extraordinary perspective to peacebuilding, conflict prevention and diversity education.

We inducted three new members as well - Ann Marie Sabath, Sara Traverso and Timothy Shishko. Immediate Past President Ted Perednia pinned them as RCNY members. Helen Reisler presented a check to a Little Brothers representative.

We had an International Visitor from Rotary Club of Sao Paolo Brazil as well.
